The Merseyside County
Fell Running Championship
will be held within the Rivington Pike
Fell Race on Saturday, March 22nd at 3.00pm.
Entries
for the County Championships should be sent to me at the above address to
arrive by March 15th and should include name, address, club, date of
birth, county qualification (birth or residence) and the entry fee of £2
(cheques payable to Merseyside County AA)
Please note: Entrants must enter the Rivington Pike through the organisers in the normal
way. The race secretary is Ian Smith, 7 Church St, Horwich, Bolton, BL6 6AH and the entry fee is £5. The
details can be found on the HorwichRMI Harriers website and
in the attached file. They do take entries on the day but there is a race
limit which has been reached in the past. Please note that entry
for the Merseyside Championships will not entitle an athlete to automatic entry in the Rivington
Pike race.
Medals
will be awarded as follows: First 3 Men, 1st team of three. First 3 Women, 1st team of three.
The
Inter Counties Fell Race will be held in
conjunction with the Belmont Village Winter Hill Race on Saturday 10 May
2008. Selection will be initially be
based on participation in the Championships and the Parbold
Hill Race. Athletes unable to take part in either of these races
but wish to represent the county should let me know as soon as possible.
