Track Endurance Series 2019

Dates for 2019

All races are at the Oval, Bebington.  The 1 mile race on the 14th April will be part of the Wirral AC open meeting, all other races will start at 7.45pm.  Multiple races will be held if the number of entries dictate.

Entry costs £3 per event on the night, £4 pre-entry for the 1 mile but includes free entry into a subsequent endurance race this season.  UKA qualified timekeepers will be present and all results will be posted to the power of 10.

All six races will count in the race series, the first male and female athlete in each race will be awarded 50 points, second placed athlete awarded 49 points, third place 48 and so on. If an athlete misses a race they will score 0.

Trophies will be awarded to the top three male and too three female athletes with trophies being awarded after the final race in the series on 5th September.

I would encourage you all to contact us with any suggestions you may have in improving things for you, such as better numbers that do not rip on wet evenings? or to tell us what you think we are doing well (we all like to feel a sense that we are getting it right sometimes). We will endeavour to keep listening, learning and improving what we do so we can continue to offer all competitors a welcoming, relaxed and friendly evening of running.

Good luck in your continued training and racing.

Steve Spence
